Savanna Polasek is passionate about engaging employees and sharing their stories.  Prior to working as an internal communications specialist for Upbring, she created innovative content as an engineering communications specialist at Texas A&M and has years of education experience.

Savanna graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a concentration in creative writing from Texas A&M University. Savanna believes in supporting the arts, and has served as prose editor for The Eckleburg Project. She has previously served the Austin Bat Cave as a virtual volunteer. Savanna is a Charles Gordone award winner for her creative nonfiction piece, “County Road 100”, and is published in the book, “Classics Transformed”.  In her free time she enjoys reading, writing and exploring Texas.
